Minnie Box several years ago when she was wrapping gifts for close friends who had milestone birthdays, but the project ended up on the back burner with the corporate job demanding the focus. When she left the corporate job in August 2018 to focus on her health, she was inspired to start Minnie Box up again when putting together gifts for two best girlfriends turning 40. She wanted to make them feel loved and special on their birthday and organically started to decorate the interior box flaps to add the personal touch. She also started making candles, hand-poured all-natural soy wax with the highest quality ingredients and no toxins.
The concept for Minnie Box is to send a thoughtful and personal gift as it's become a lost art in this modern age where we simply click and ship gifts over the internet. The recipient would receive a standard box in the mail, however, upon opening, they would be surprised with the personalized decorated box flaps along with items specifically picked out for them. For those going through something significant in their life, we incorporate items that will be helpful to the recipient. The Melanie and The Heidi Breast Cancer Recovery boxes are great examples as both women went through breast cancer treatment, and provided insight on items that were needed or useful during their recovery period.
Minnie Box is driven to help busy working women send thoughtful and personal gifts.
